Louisiana's Culinary History

In 2012, the Southern Food & Beverage Museum partnered with the state of Louisiana to put together a travelling exhibit celebrating 200 years of Louisiana's food. This exhibit explores different regions of the state and the factors that led to different dishes and cooking styles in each location. 

Join us for the month of September, 2018 as we Spotlight Louisiana as part of the 10 Years of SoFAB programming! Louisiana is the birthplace and homebase of both NatFAB and SoFAB, and in celebration of Louisiana’s unique role in American foodways, SoFAB will celebrate the contributions and innovations of Louisianans.
