Cirque de Cuisine 2018


This year’s Cirque de Cuisine: A French Quarter Kitchen Tour is in the books! We had a wonderful time exploring the homes on this year’s tour, and loved seeing the mix of style and utility that each kitchen offered. A huge thank you to each and every homeowner who graciously allowed our guests to see what you’ve created!

And because this is a Southern Food & Beverage Museum event, we of course had to feature a few of our favorite restaurants in each house. The chefs loved testing out the appliances, and we loved eating their delicious dishes. Many thanks to the participating restaurants: Brennan’s (what a beautiful courtyard!), Chais Delachaise, Copper Vine, Francesca’s, DeeLightful Cupcakes, Edison’s, Happy Jaxx, Sushi by Squeezed, Toups South, Wayne Jacobs Smokehouse, EAT, and ReMixed Tapas!

These bites paired quite well with a variety of drinks, from tea to sparkling wine. Thank you to Bouvet-Ladubay, Truly Spiked & Sparkling, Edison’s, Roulaison, Seven-Three Distilling, Faubourg Wines, Angry Orchard, Sam Adams, Fleur de LA Imports, Patrick’s Bar Vin, Sonoma-Cutrer, and Big Easy Bucha for keeping us well hydrated throughout the tour.

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the Southern Food & Beverage Museum by attending the tour. We hope you enjoyed peaking behind the courtyard walls and took a little inspiration away from these kitchens. Thanks again to the homeowners, the chefs and beverage purveyors, and our amazing volunteers for taking such good care of our guests. And thank you to the Bourbon Orleans Hotel for hosting our check-in desk at the Bourbon O Bar! Looking forward to seeing you again next year!
