New Orleans Prohibition Raids, 1919-1933

The Museum of the American Cocktail partners with to display a new, interactive exhibit in the museum and online. This exhibit maps all of the raids during Prohibition in New Orleans, detailing individual homes and businesses that were shut down or otherwise affected by federal agents.

About the Curator

Hannah C. Griggs recently finished her Master's degree at Boston College, where she currently works as adjunct professor and student advisor. A Louisiana native, she studies the history, literature, and foodways of the South. She runs, a digital project archiving cocktail culture in New Orleans. She enjoys cooking, traveling, and a really good Old Fashioned.
