Join the Southern Food & Beverage Museum as we officially celebrate our 10th anniversary with a weekend of culinary programming starting on Thursday, October 18 with Sara Franklin. Franklin will discuss chef and author Edna Lewis for this year's Contemporary Issues in Food & Drink Lecture presented by Domino Foods, Inc.
Then on Friday evening, SoFAB will host a Soirée and Street Party on Oretha C. Haley Boulevard. Programming throughout the weekend will highlight local chefs, SoFAB exhibits, and more!
Soirée and Street Party
Enjoy an evening on the Boulevard with delicious food from local restaurants, music, and cocktails. Explore the Southern Food & Beverage Museum and visit our new Gumbo Garden with a special dish from the Franklin smoker. Chef demonstrations will keep you informed and entertained in the Rouses Culinary Innovation Center by Jenn-Air, and a silent auction will feature dining gift certificates, culinary photography, and other food experiences to support SoFAB.
The Soirée and Patron Party begins at 6:30 PM with champagne and small bites in the museum. The Street Party begins at 7:30 PM. Save the date and stay tuned for tickets and the full line-up of restaurants!
The Southern Food & Beverage Museum is grateful for the support of the 10th Anniversary Soirée and Street Party Committee for coordinating the celebratory events. The committee is lead by Chairpersons John and Allison Anjier. See the full committee list here.
