The Dirty Pages Exhibit is coming to the Southern Food and Beverage Museum! This multi-media exhibit involves photos and stories celebrating shared, passed-down food memories and the abundant variety of Nashville’s food traditions and cultures. Learn more about the exhibit here.
The exhibit will officially open to the public on November 6th, but a sneak preview is included if you join the creators of Dirty Pages for a special dinner inspired by the exhibit at Purloo on Thursday, November 5th at 6:00 PM. Tickets are $65 per person, inclusive of tax and gratuity. Specialty cocktails by Carmine Portenza, full bar, and wine will be available at the historic Brunnings bar. Chef Ryan Hughes' menu includes:
- Southern board, pimento cheese, smoked lamb, green tomato chutney, deviled eggs Meunière, fried pickles, and boiled peanuts
- Lowcountry style she-crab bisque, finished with Madeira
- Smothered oxtails with black eyed peas, green onion rice, and sweet potato souflee
- Buttermilk custard chess pie topped with blackberries, salted caramel sauce, and a red wine reduction
