There perhaps is no spirit more storied, more in demand, and better tasting than Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon. And in the last 10 years, due in equal parts to its quality and scarcity, it has achieved near mythic status as the quintessential American-made whiskey.
Now, The Museum of the American Cocktail makes five distinct expressions -- 10, 12, 15, 20, and 23 -- available to connoisseurs, all in one night, in an historic setting, paired with five courses of gourmet fare designed to compliment and highlight Pappy's distinctive character. With your ticket, you'll enjoy a welcome cocktail plus five half-ounce pours of Pappy Van Wickle, one of each of five vintages. Join us Wednesday, March 15 at Far Bar in Little Tokyo for an unforgettable evening of magnificent whiskey, great food, and lively storytelling by master bartender and spirits expert Sean Naughton.
Dinner is $115 for all National Food & Beverage Foundation (NatFAB), Culinary Historians of Southern California, Women Who Whiskey, and USBG members, or $125 for non-members, and includes tax and gratuity. Space is strictly limited to 30 diners, and reservations are required. NatFAB membership is available to all at natfab.org/membership.
