A Spirited Experience & Panel Discussion Featuring NatFAB President Liz Williams

Join Pomp & Whimsy and MOTAC for an intimate discussion of the role women have played in the history of the cocktail, followed by a spirited experience featuring LA's top female mixologists. Wine and spirits writer Marissa A. Ross (Bon Appétit) delivers a keynote talk, followed by a panel of cocktail and culinary historians led by Dr. Nicola Nice (Founder of Pomp & Whimsy), Liz Williams (President of NatFAB), and Mia Mastroianni (Bar Rescue and Nitty Grits Media). Following the panel, attendees will enjoy turn-of-the-20th-century cocktails as reimagined for today.

Guests will enjoy gourmet bites courtesy the kitchen of the historic Palihouse West Hollywood and cocktails prepared by some of LA's top woman bartenders, including Una Green (St-Germain), Gianna Johns (Harvard & Stone), and Sarah LM Mengoni (Double Take).

Tickets are $40 for National Food & Beverage Foundation (NatFAB) members, $45 General Admission in advance). NatFAB membership is available to all at natfab.org/membership.

Through the generosity of Pomp & Whimsy, all bartenders and spirits industry members may attend FREE OF CHARGE. Advance registration, however, is required.

All sales are final. Because our host restaurants require non-refundable deposits and reliable guest counts, we cannot issue refunds on our curated dinners or cocktail seminars. We regret any inconvenience this may present and appreciate your understanding.

If you have any issues with the ticketing software or would prefer to make your reservation on the phone, please call us at 504-267-7490 during the week or 504-569-0405 on weekends.
