Join SoFAB for a demonstration of a new take on a Louisiana classic dish. Kristen Preau, aka Jambalaya Girl, shares her delicious recipe for Cranberry Pecan Rice Pilaf. All of your holiday favorites are mixed in with your favorite Jambalaya Girl Jambalaya makes for an easy, sweet and savory holiday dish! 

As part of SoFAB's Entrepreneurship and Mentorship Program, Kristen will also discuss how she turned a family recipe and tradition into a booming business that is becoming internationally recognized as an authentic brand for New Orleans. Jambalaya Girl is on a roll since Kristen graduated from the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program, finished as a top finalist for the 2015 "Big Idea" NOEW competition, JEDCO Challenge and Capital One Louisiana Small Business Competition and was awarded the Louisiana SBA Woman in Business Champion. 

Sneak Peek!! Jambalaya Girl will also be cooking up and sharing tastes of her newest product that's not even on the market yet . . . Gumbo, which was inspired by her Mom's recipe!
