Tonya Jacob, writer, cook, and author of Silhouette of A Southern Cook from Shreveport will do a demonstration of her recipes for Navy Beans with Ham and Shrimp and Grandma’s Bread Pudding with Pecan Rum Sauce.
Demonstration begins at 12 PM in the Rouses Culinary Innovation Center by Jenn-Air, samples are first come first serve. Free with museum admission.

Tonya Jacob is a Writer, Cook, and Author of “Silhouette of A Southern Cook.” She was taught to cook by three generations of cooks, at the tender age of ten. She has had a love affair for food, and cooking ever since. Tonya is currently working on a kid’s cooking book. Tonya looks forward to teaching cooking classes and having her own cooking studio.
