About the Chef
Chef Everett learned the mysteries and traditions of southern cooking from her grandmothers who were pioneer female chefs in Virginia. She spent over 25 years in NYC’s explosive dining scene operating some of its most celebrated establishments as both chef and executive. Her teachings and work ethic melded with the demands of Manhattan’s fast paced restaurant world to create magical experiences nightly. Her skill-set extends deep into catering and event production, engineering soirees of all sizes for corporate and celebrity clients including Oprah Winfrey, Sony Music, The Brooklyn Nets, and Luther Vandross. She fell in love with NOLA when a 2003 holiday brought her to the Crescent City where she met so many kindred creative, culinary spirits.
