Camellia Beans is excited to announce the opening of the Southern Food & Beverage Museum's newest exhibit: Red Bean City. Learn about the history of the Camellia brand and the importance of red beans and rice to the culinary culture of New Orleans. The Camellia company is a recent addition to NatFAB's National Culinary Heritage Register as a food business over 50 years old.
Visit on opening day and enjoy a sample of red beans and rice while enjoying free admission to the Southern Food & Beverage Museum and The Museum of the American Cocktail: New Orleans Collection. The first 100 visitors also receive a free package of Camellia red beans! From 11 AM to 1 PM, Camellia beans will offer a kids activity table.

At 3 PM, join Chef Toya Boudy as she launches her new cookbook in the Rouses Culinary Innovation Center by Jenn-Air with a demonstration and book signing. Her book, Cook Like A New Orleanian, takes classic New Orleans recipes and gives them a unique spin.
