Now that summer has arrived in New Orleans, there are only so many drinks that you can enjoy in the sweltering heat. Luckily, iced tea is one of the only things that can offer true refreshment, and there's a whole day devoted to it! We're offering you a chance to cool yourself down with Iced Tea and A/C while enjoying free admission to the Southern Food & Beverage Museum and The Museum of the American Cocktail: New Orleans Collection on National Iced Tea Day, Saturday, June 10th.
We're excited to offer free admission for Louisiana residents and Louisiana students all day! Free admission is made possible by support from Luzianne Tea.
At 1 PM, join SoFAB Director Liz Williams as she discusses tea history and makes a delicious pitcher to quench your thirst. Then at 3 PM, Gabriel Charpentier, Chef de Cuisine at The Grill Room at Windsor Court Hotel will lead a demonstration in the kitchen. Iced tea will be available all day in the museum.
