As part of Atlas Obscura Day, join the Southern Food & Beverage Museum and The Museum of the American Cocktail to celebrate the update of La Galerie de l’Absinthe. Try a sample of dripped absinthe from 12 PM to 3 PM and explore the gallery to learn about the history of this mysterious green liquor.
La Galerie d’Absinthe is created from the private Absinthe collection of Raymond Bordelon. With an extensive collection of absinthe through the years, absinthe spoons, absinthe cocktail recipes, and absinthe fountains, this gallery explores the world of absinthe.
The program begins at 12 PM in La Galerie d'Absinthe in the Southern Food & Beverage Museum, samples are first come first serve. Free with museum admission and open to the public.
