PacFAB's popular series of curated dinners returns when winemaker Angela Velenosi, aka "The Lady from Le Marche," leads diners on a wine tour of Italy's Marche region. Guests will enjoy a welcome cocktail featuring Pomp & Whimsy Gin Liqueur, six wines from Italy's Marche region, and a three-course Italian meal courtesy the acclaimed Chef Scott Conant and The Ponte, LA's hottest Italian restaurant.

Dinner is $95 for all National Food & Beverage Foundation (NatFAB), Kindred Spirits Society, Culinary Historians of Southern California members, and SoCal wine club members or $105 for non-members, and includes tax and gratuity. Space is strictly limited, and reservations are required. NatFAB membership is available to all at natfab.org/membership.

A portion of all proceeds support NatFAB, home of PacFAB, The Museum of the American Cocktail, and Southern Food & Beverage Museum.

 

ABOUT THE WINEMAKER

Angela Velenosi co-founded Velenosi Winery in 1984 with virtually no experience or capital. Today, Velenosi is the second-largest family-owned winery in the Le Marche region on Italy’s Adriatic Coast. The heart of the company is in the province of Ascoli Piceno and Velenosi annually produces 2.5 million bottles of more than 20 different wines. Velenosi has been acknowledged with some of the industry’s most prestigious accolades, including being recognized twice by Wine Spectator as one of Italy’s top wineries. Velenosi consulting winemaker Attilio Pagli was honored as one of the 30 best winemakers in the world by Decanter Magazine. Angela’s business savvy and commitment to showcasing the beauty of Le Marche’s indigenous grapes led to her being elected as President of the area’s wine consortium, Consorzio di Tutela Vini Piceni.
