Bourbon—it's an American tradition, and few names are more closely associated with it than that of Jim Beam. But Kentucky's Beam Distillery is also a center of experimentation and innovation, where the glorious past of America's signature whiskey informs its expansive future.
On Tuesday, November 13, join The Museum of the American Cocktail for a bourbon seminar like no other. Whiskey ambassador extraordinaire Megan Breier will lead guests on a guided tour of Jim Beam's Harvest Collection, six experimental bourbons produced in 2014, bottled at 90 proof, and no longer available to the public! Additionally, guests will enjoy cocktails featuring Jim Beam Rye Whiskey and Repeal Day Bourbon, prepared by master bartender Rhino Williams, plus dinner bites courtesy the kitchen of Lost Property, the acclaimed whiskey and craft cocktail bar, situated in the heart of Hollywood.

Tickets are $40 for National Food & Beverage Foundation (NatFAB) and hospitality industry members, $45 General Admission in advance, and $50 at the door (if available). NatFAB membership is available to all at natfab.org/membership.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Born and bred in Kentucky, Megan has spent her first two years with Beam Suntory putting her Bluegrass State savvy to good use as the Bourbon Ambassador for Jim Beam in the home state. After training at the Jim Beam Distillery and working alongside Master Distiller Fred Noe, Megan decided to share her Southern charm with the West Coast! Today, Megan travels the country creating unique and approachable events centering on bourbon education. Her thirst for knowledge and passion for bourbon is infectious, especially when she hams it up with you over an Oink and Barrel tasting (that’s Bourbon and Country Ham, y’all).
Prior to her ambassadorship, Megan was immersed in the hospitality industry, operating the award-winning Garage Bar in Louisville, KY, and coordinating major events for 21c Hotels. Megan most recently earned Certified Spirits Specialist accreditation and is working toward becoming a Certified Spirits Educator with the Society of Wine Educators.
