Cocktails Made Simple: Drinking Well at Home with Amin Benny
The craft cocktail renaissance of the last quarter century has inspired many tipplers to refine their own mixology skills and set up some pretty impressive home bars. On Saturday, November 9, visit LA's Pacific Food & Beverage Museum for an afternoon with Amin Benny, aka The Bar Host, and enjoy an interactive cocktail demo with the co-author of Cocktails Made Simple: Easy & Delicious Recipes for the Home Bartender. Using recipes from his new book, Benny will create—and share!—several cocktails made with WhistlePig PiggyBack Rye Whiskey. After the program, grab a signed copy of Cocktails Made Simple and enjoy refreshments courtesy Melissa's Produce and PacFAB Director Tracey Mitchell.
ADMISSION IS FREE WITH RSVP
ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Educated by some of the top mixologists in the US, Amin Benny’s greatest desire is to share his knowledge with developing bartenders. So in 2014 he established The Bar Host, a bar consulting and beverage brand representation company. The firm has represented global brands such as Tequila Patrón and consulted for some of the most well-known restaurant groups in Southern California. Benny has also taken on the role of Steward of the Brand for WhistlePig Rye Whiskey and serves as Beverage Chair for Share Our Strength, which raises money for No Kid Hungry, through Laguna Beach Taste of the Nation. With the success of his consulting company, Benny has appeared on KLOS radio and television shows such as Good Morning San Diego, led multiple seminars at industry conventions, including The Nightclub and Bar Show in Las Vegas, and has co-authored his first book, Cocktails Made Simple. Benny’s passion is helping elevate the beverage industry and demonstrating that being a bartender isn't just a job, it's a career.
